"I was so inspired and blessed, I had to get airline tickets come out on May 1st."
"I am in awe of God's sovereignty, goodness and grace! I am so inspired and can hardly wait to read on."
“Claire, your book was wonderful. I didn’t want to stop reading. While I was reading it, my husband was facing surgery... Your book brought me focus and reminders of faith I very much needed in those moments.”
“I finished your book in a day! It was a good read! Congrats on getting your story on paper! It’s so exciting.”
“I cannot put the book down. I have cried and laughed and marveled at who you have become.”
“Wow! I know I’ve said before that God gave you the parents you needed to raise you to be able to handle the news of your birth, but it’s amazing to read how they got to that point. I did get teary-eyed several times, especially reading the part where you found out the story of your birth. It made me want to hug your birth mom—how hard it must have been for her to tell you that. I think the thing that strikes me most is how you show that God forgives us and that He shows us the way He wants us to go, we just have to be willing to listen.”
"I have been leaving your promotional cards everywhere. A couple weeks ago I left one with a local coffee shop. I went there again today and the owner said that the card has started so many conversations."
“Your book was awesome !!!! It took me a while to read but it truly is beautiful... you are such a gift!!!”
“I am floored!!! Such a great job!!! God is so awesome and I love how He has used you and your family!!!”

"The door of the human heart can only be opened from the inside". William Hunt, English, Painter.
My eyes would often fill with tears as I read your story. Sometimes I had to stop to wipe them away with a tissue so I could see well enough to continue reading. I felt as though I was in some kind of sacred place, a room in someone's heart and they were showing me secrets, their secrets. Your words are like the paint on a canvass revealing a picture for me to see and feel. The emotional intimacy of the most tender places of your life touched me. You opened an understanding of something I never before knew. There is nothing more powerful than "story". Data and information are one thing, but it is the "story" that absorbs into the deepest places in the human heart and most often the recipient is unaware it is happening. We unlock our hearts to a "story".
Your encounter with Abby was particularly moving. Also, the engagement with your biological mom. You made "forgiveness" almost palpable. It is a beautiful thing. We also liked and agreed with your comment about how uncomfortable the body of Christ is with being "flawed". We are ALL so very terribly broken. Our "Christian" language of victory can become so dominant that we are no longer being honest about our sinful impulses and behaviors. We miss grace because we can only access it through vulnerability and honesty. You show us grace.
Thank you for writing your story, and thank you for continuing to write your story. We know there was pain in the process of putting it down on paper, for a story is far more than ink and paper. “
